The big news at this month’s meetup is that after nearly 7 years at the inNEVation center, starting in January 2020, the WordPress Vegas meetup is moving back downtown and will be hosted at Work In Progress.
The original WordPress Users group will continue to be hosted on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. And our new WordPress Developers meetup will be held on the second Monday of each month. Both at Work In Progress. Be sure to check out meetup.com to RSVP for either/both events.
This Month’s Topics
John started off the meetup by talking a bit about WordCamp US, which took place last month in St Louis.
He followed that up showing off some of the new WordPress 5.3 features, including talking about the new default theme, Twenty Twenty.
He then gave a demo Atomic Blocks. It’s a Gutenberg friendly theme and plugin that was purchased by WPEngine/Studio Press.
