I am not to happy with an HTML theme dropped into Wordpress, simply because I have to change the header.php file up just to update the nav, etc. the new site we are working on is http://valleywestmortgage.com/vwcorp take a look.

Yeah, it’s a pretty rad theme to use. I would recommend it to anyone who wanted it. I bought it a while back from theme forest There is a few tweaks to make to the theme, but it’s pretty easy none the less.

Didn’t mean to leave you out of this, Jay! Jay was rocking’ the graphics hard from day one. His original logo concept was excellent but didn’t fit our style. He turned it upside-down and inside out in no time to get us the design we are working with today! Mad props.

I really like the slider/post feature across the top of the home page. Is that a plugin or was that built in as part of the theme?
That came with the theme actually and I hate the theme by the way; I will never use it again. The client came to me after leaving some other guys and had already paid for the theme and could not be talked out of using it. Yeah, I know how that goes. We’ve had the same experience in the past.
Well, if nothing else, maybe you can pull the code for that slider out and reuse it in some other projects without having the ’fun’ of using that same theme…
That is like DUO 2, 3 or 4 or some name right? I played with it a few times and it took days just to figure out the original designers mindset. I like that theme for a portfolio based theme, but as a corp theme, it kinda of tough to pull off. Fatbeard Strikes Again!
